Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee is seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver to assist a client in their home. This role involves providing hands-on personal care, companionship, and support with daily living activities while ensuring the client’s comfort and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with bathing and showering
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with dressing and personal grooming
- Assist with grocery shopping
- Support with incontinence care
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Prepare simple meals
- Help maintain a safe home environment
- Schedule appointments for physicians and laboratory visits
- Assist with mobility and safely support client’s weight as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous caregiving experience preferred; incontinence care experience strongly preferred
- Ability to assist with personal care and mobility support
- Physically able to safely assist client with transfers and weight support
- Reliable, punctual, and compassionate
- Able to follow a care plan and communicate effectively
